Questions people ask.

How long does tint take?

Most cars take 2 to 3 hours.

Does my car need to be clean?

Please arrive with a reasonably clean vehicle, especially around the windows, door panels and seals. If it is too dirty to tint safely, we will let you know and can reschedule.

What film brand do you use?

We install Hitek window film in dyed, carbon and ceramic.

How do I reach you?

Call or text (770) 545-0149. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm.

What films do you offer?

Dyed, carbon and ceramic, all Hitek (Classic Black, Carbon IR and Ceramic IR). Dyed is the budget pick and is made with black pigment. Ceramic is our recommendation for most daily drivers because it blocks much more heat.

Do you offer windshield protection film?

Yes, on request only. Impact Shield is a clear Hitek windshield protection film, not tint. It is priced separately and quoted per vehicle, so ask us and we will send you a price.

Do you remove old tint?

Yes. Old or bubbling tint can be removed, starting at $150 when you get new tint with us. We confirm the price with your vehicle details.

Can you tint a windshield?

Georgia only allows tint on the top 6 inches of the windshield, and we can do that strip for $50. A full tinted windshield is not legal.

What are your hours?

Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Closed Sunday.

Do you install any shade?

Yes. We install the shade you choose, including shades darker than Georgia allows. Just know that the driver can be ticketed for a shade that is too dark for those windows, and Georgia law can also penalize the installer, so we talk it through with you before we install. A medical exemption is available through the state.

Is window tint legal in Georgia?

As of October 2026 (Georgia HB 1161, effective July 1, 2026): front side windows must be 28% VLT or lighter on a sedan, coupe or hatchback, and the rear side windows and the back window can be as dark as 15%. Multipurpose vehicles such as most SUVs and trucks are exempt on the rear windows, but the front side windows still must be 28% or lighter. Only the top 6 inches of the windshield can be tinted. Older articles may still show 32%.

Do you travel to me?

Yes. Mobile service is free within 50 miles of Buford. Farther than 50 miles, text us and we will quote the travel for you. Prefer to drop off? There is no travel at all.

When can I roll my windows down?

Wait 3 days after the install.

Where are you located?

We work out of a home setup in Buford, GA, by appointment. We send you the address when you book, or we come to you.

Why is there haze or a bubble in my new tint?

That is normal while the film cures. It usually clears up in a week or two.

How much does window tint cost in Buford?

Full-car prices start around $225 for dyed, $350 for carbon and $550 for ceramic on a sedan or coupe. SUVs, trucks and vans cost more, and luxury or electric models like a Tesla, Porsche or Mercedes cost more still. Pick your exact car in the tint tool at the top and you get its saved starting price.
