Heat figures are from Hitek's spec sheets, measured at a 5% shade. The lifetime guarantee is Hitek's, and we will go over its terms with you. Lighter shades block less heat. Shade colors show Georgia law as of October 2026: green is legal on every window, outlined is rear side and back windows only on a car, and gray is not legal on a car.

Impact Shield is a clear windshield protection film from Hitek. It is not tint. It is built to help reduce minor chips and scratches without hurting your view. We do not list it on the menu. Ask us and we quote it for your vehicle.

What it is

Ultra clear, high-strength aliphatic polyurethane, 8.5 mil, 2 ply, with a self-healing, hydrophobic top coating.

How it goes on

Pressure adhesive on the outside of the windshield. Easy to fit on curved glass, with excellent optical clarity.

Warranty and price

Hitek backs it with a 1 year factory direct warranty. Priced separately from tint and quoted per vehicle.

More than a full car.

Front two windows

Just the driver and passenger windows. About half the price of a full car, and the most common Georgia-legal upgrade.

Windshield top strip

Georgia allows tint on the top 6 inches of the windshield. We cut and fit that strip so it sits clean and even. $50 added to a job.

Old tint removal

Bubbling, purple or peeling film comes off before the new film goes on. Starts at $150 with new tint. Tell us your vehicle and we confirm the price.

Impact Shield windshield film

A clear protection film for your windshield, not tint. On request only and priced separately. Ask us for a quote.
